Guys have a much harder time finding a date online than girls do, or so TikTok user Jeremy Cryer claims. He reveals the situation of his colleague who met 39 guys just two days after joining the dating app Hinge.

The man, who appears to be in his 30s, said as the New York Post quotation:

There is no hope for men,

Do you realize that for guys we have to wait weeks for likes, let alone for someone we are interested in to send us a “like”… [or] when we send them a “like”, so that they accept it?

He continues, as the same source quotes:

We’re, like, shooting a basketball in the dark,

Blindfolded, upside down and hoping it lands in a goal almost smaller than the actual ball.

There are many people who believe that dating apps will put the man or woman of their dreams on their feet. But the reality is that these apps can also give the user quite exhausting and horrible experiences without even considering the possibility of not getting matches quickly.

Last year in November, we shared news of a study that shows how dating apps can encourage couples to divorce early. The research seems to confirm the usual flaws of human nature when using dating software, such as the temptation to hide certain aspects while hiding behind an online profile.

We are seriously interested in knowing from our readers if what Jeremy Cryer says is true. Is it so hard for men to get matches on dating apps? Do women indeed find it much easier to find a life partner online? Do not hesitate to leave us your opinion in the comment section!
